ROVING SHAKESPEARE
The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare
Roving Shakespeare's fast-paced production of The Comedy of Errors was a physically dynamic introduction to the language and style of William Shakespeare. Employing many Elizabethan staging conditions, this vibrant comedy sought out moments of audience contact to engage students in the world of the play. Because of the educational focus of this production, Roving Shakespeare offered study guides and interactive workshops that explored the play's language, stage craft, and themes.
Our tour of Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors ran October 16th, 2012 through March 29th, 2013. The play was tailored to both a 45 minute or 90 minute run time, depending on venue.
We offered this production and subsequent workshops as a free service, asking only that schools helped cover the company's travel expenses.
